To help safeguard the sexual health of both men and women, the Union County Health Department offers a Sexual Health Clinic with four convenient locations. The clinic provides STD testing, birth control, recommended annual exams and other services to anyone age 13 and older regardless of residency, income or insurance status. Our services are confidential and our staff are knowledgeable and understanding of the needs of the LGBT community.

The Sexual Health Clinic
Services Available
- recommended annual exams (pap smears, pelvic exams, breast exams, testicular exams, and colorectal cancer screenings);
- STD testing including free and reduced cost gonorrhea, chlamydia & HIV testing*;
- pregnancy testing;
- prescription birth control;
- condoms;
- HPV vaccination; and
- education on how to plan for a healthy pregnancy.
*Same day results available for many tests. Chlamydia and Gonorrhea testing for men and women under the age of 30 can be done by urine testing, avoiding the discomfort of a swab test.
Cost
Sexual health services are significantly discounted in an effort to make healthcare affordable. We accept most insurances, including medicaid managed plans. We offer a sliding-fee scale and no one is turned away for inability to pay. For a list of participating insurance plans, please contact the Sexual Health Clinic at 937-642-2053.
Grant funding allows us to provide free gonorrhea and chlamydia testing and treatment for individuals age 13-30.
Eligibility
The Sexual Health Clinic offers affordable reproductive healthcare for men and women age 13 and older regardless of residency, income or insurance status. For individuals under age 18, no parental consent required for all services except vaccinations.
