Adult vaccines are offered 8-9am
Monday-Friday without an appointment and include Tetanus Diphtheria (Td)
and Hepatitis B. Vaccine recommendations
are provided for foreign travel and appointments only are made for Hepatitis
A and Meningitis. There has
been a national shortage of the Tetanus Diphtheria vaccine since summer
of 2001, and the shortage is expected to continue until early 2002.
Anyone that has an injury, is pregnant, or has never received the
vaccine is given priority and can receive the vaccine now.
All other persons due for the 10 year booster must wait until the
shortage is resolved.
Medicaid is accepted, however we do not bill private insurance. For children a sliding scale fee is available based on income, and no child will be turned away for inability to pay.
