Project DAWN (Deaths Avoided with Naloxone) is a community-based overdose education and Naloxone distribution program that was created as a way to combat Ohio's opioid overdose epidemic. Naloxone (also known as Narcan) is a medication which can reverse an opioid overdose.
Registration is encouraged to make sure there are enough kits for all in attendance. To register, or if you have questions, please contact Shawn Sech at 937-645-2045 or via email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Who should attend?
This training is for anyone who may be in contact with someone using opioids.
Kits made possible through a partnership between the Union County Health Department, the Ohio Department of Health, and Maryhaven.
